Why Bamboo Clothing?

You might be wondering why we chose to carry only bamboo clothing. Here is your answer.

First off, there are many benefits for children who wear bamboo clothing. Bamboo is one of the softest fabrics and gentle on children's delicate skin. It is a breathable fabric and moisture absorbing. This means that children will not get as overheated in bamboo fabric as they would other fabrics. Bamboo is hypoallergenic and perfect for children with sensitive skin or eczema. It does not rub on the skin and make it raw like other materials can do. 

Secondly, and this is the main reason for us finding great quality bamboo clothing, is Savanna's children have very sensitive skin. Her son has severe eczema and they went through a couple of months where his skin was flared and nothing helped. His skin would be raw, almost bleeding, and bumpy to the touch. He would cry if anything touched him, except his bamboo clothing. They would lather him up in a locally made ointment and lotion then put him in his soft, bamboo clothing where he found relief from the pain and itching that eczema brings.
